Paper Garden: In Three Parts

Alison Masters

June 12 July 4, 2026

Paper Garden: A Work in Three Parts The Tilted Brick Gallery is pleased to present a new exhibition by Alison Masters. Alison is a well-known Creston artist and gardener who has lived in Creston since 2000. She has exhibited throughout Alberta and the Kootenays and is as well known for her garden as she is for her painting. This new work of painted assemblages marks a change in her approach to art making. The whole work is a bit like a walk through her garden. Rather than neat, manicured edges, the ‘plantings’ are invited to commingle their shapes, colours, and textures with one another until they become a whole beautiful thing. We invite you to come and enjoy this new exhibition and see where Alison’s latest work has taken her.
