Bodies of Work: ArtSpace Mannequin Project Comes to Tilted Brick Gallery. What happens when ten life-sized mannequins meet the imaginations of 20 ArtSpace members? Find out at Bodies of Work, a playful and imaginative exhibition at Creston’s Tilted Brick Gallery, running November 6 to December 12, 2026. The project began when ArtSpace member Janet Holder discovered ten mannequins at a mall store closing sale last spring. Seeing them as blank canvases, she challenged fellow members to transform them into something unexpected. The results celebrate creativity, experimentation and collaboration. Some mannequins are individual creations, while others bring together multiple artists, including one involving more than 15 participants. Together, they offer a wonderfully varied mix of materials, ideas, personalities and artistic interpretations. More than an exhibition, Bodies of Work is an opportunity for ArtSpace members to experiment, collaborate and share their creativity with the community—with humour and surprises along the way.
