About
An Artist-Run Centre in the Kootenays
The Tilted Brick Gallery Association is a registered non-profit society under BC's Societies Act, built on the principle: by artists, for artists.
About TBGA
TBGA is an artist-run centre that is community-based and nurtures the development of art and culture in all forms. In the tradition of Canada's unique Artist Run Centre model, we are rooted in respect for the essential role artists play in communities.
Under the TBGA umbrella, you'll find two distinct but complementary spaces: The Tilted Brick Gallery and ArtSpace. Together, they offer opportunities for professional growth, recognition, and connection.
We help artists build their careers in a supportive, inclusive environment and work to make contemporary art accessible, relevant, and part of everyday life through exhibitions, events, workshops, and partnerships.

The Gallery
Tilted Brick Gallery
A curated artist-run exhibition space focused on Kootenay and Columbia Basin artists and visual arts in all forms. Situated at the Creston Visitor Centre, our gallery primarily provides opportunity to emerging and mid-career contemporary artists.
We are committed to supporting artists and offering fair compensation through CARFAC (Canadian Artists' Representation) fees for the honour of showing their work. Artists exhibit on their own terms in a professional, supportive environment.
Community Hub
ArtSpace
A vibrant and dynamic environment where passion for art and community spirit converge. ArtSpace caters to a diverse range of artists — from enthusiastic beginners to seasoned professionals.
Our mission is to foster a supportive, member-driven art community where artists can showcase their work in art shows, engage in meaningful workshops, and collaborate with like-minded individuals.

Land Acknowledgment
The Tilted Brick Gallery Association operates on the unceded territory of the Ktunaxa Nation, otherwise known as Creston, BC. We acknowledge and respect the Ktunaxa people as the traditional stewards of this land.
