Sketching on the Spot

Instructor Bob Altwein. Sketching-on-the-spot” is an invitation to sketch almost anything around one. While exploring techniques, one can also enhance visual observation through the conscious applying of composition, textures, patterns, contrast, tonalities, collage, watercolour washes and other elements of the mark making process. Let’s also see this workshop as an opportunity to capture subject matter that might be new and novel. We can also enhance our results by using a beginner’s mind.
