The Tilted Brick Gallery Association (TBGA) is a registered non-profit under BC’s Societies Act, founded on the principle: by artists, for artists. Our mission is rooted in respect for the essential role artists play in our communities. We offer
opportunities for professional growth, recognition, and connection—helping artists build their careers in a supportive, inclusive environment.
 

We are equally committed to engaging the wider community. TBGA works to make contemporary art accessible, relevant, and part of everyday life. Through exhibitions, events, workshops, and partnerships, we bring art beyond the gallery
walls and into shared public spaces. Our goal is to foster a sense of ownership and pride in an arts-friendly community where creativity is valued, visible, and connected to local identity.

Through mentorship, resources, and exposure, we champion creative excellence and collaboration. We’re also committed to financially supporting exhibiting artists and contributing to a sustainable arts community. TBGA forms a dynamic hub where artists thrive, audiences engage, and contemporary art comes to life—locally and through connections with artists from outside the region.

 

Our board of directors—all practicing artists—brings a range of experience, from emerging to established. Their leadership ensures artists’ voices guide everything we do.
